New Delhi: June 13: TDP MP Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu assumed office as the Union Minister for State for Civil Aviation at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, marking a historic moment as he became the youngest Union Cabinet Minister in the country.
In his address to the media following the ceremony, Ram Mohan Naidu expressed his deep gratitude to the people of Srikakulam, acknowledging their unwavering support. “I will always be indebted to the people of Srikakulam,” he stated, attributing his new role to their trust and backing.
He also extended his appreciation to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for providing him the opportunity to serve at the Union level. Additionally, he expressed his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for entrusting him with the Civil Aviation Department.
“Chief Minister Chandrababu gave me a chance to become Union Minister, and Prime Minister Modi entrusted me with the Civil Aviation Department,” he said. Minister Naidu highlighted the directives from Prime Minister Modi, emphasising that all departments have been instructed to prepare a comprehensive 100-day action plan.
He assured that he would work diligently to meet these expectations and enhance the country’s civil aviation sector.
