The second day of the TDP Mahanadu commenced with great fanfare. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressed the audience from the Mahanadu stage, discussing the significance of six statutes for the party's future. He expressed confidence that by 2047, the Telugu nation would gain global recognition through these initiatives. "Remember this... I’m saying that in the coming time, the Telugu nation will be number one in the world," he stated, quoting himself.
Naidu outlined a 47-year roadmap for progress and emphasized the importance of introducing new leadership over time. He shared his personal connection to his heritage, saying that if he were to be born again, he would choose to be born as a Telugu. He described the workers as the true leaders of the party and referred to them as his high command. The six statutes, he explained, were developed based on the insights of his son, Lokesh, and he assured that public opinion would be sought regularly.
He acknowledged the sacrifices of the party workers, stating that the TDP flag has been flying for 43 years because of their dedication. Naidu encouraged the workers to support the public and work towards their welfare, asserting that such actions would help the party gain support. He expressed anger over the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, dismissing attempts to label it as a mere heart attack, and criticized those engaging in politics through violence. He condemned incidents of murder in Palnadu and mentioned that some individuals within the TDP were betraying the party.
Naidu pointed out that while many have spoken about social justice, the TDP has actively implemented and demonstrated it. He warned that the government would not remain silent regarding negative posts on social media targeting women. He announced that Dwakra women would create one lakh entrepreneurs this year and that a tribute to mothers would take place either this month or next. Furthermore, he declared that women would be offered free travel on RTC buses starting August 15 and assured the completion of irrigation projects.
Expressing his frustration over the weakening of youth power, Naidu reflected on the unity demonstrated by the youth during challenging times. He affirmed his profound respect for young people and stated that the six principles would serve as a game changer for the party. He called on the workers to fully embrace and promote these guidelines for a brighter future for the TDP.
