The Telangana state government is organizing the event with significant grandeur. The selection of delegates from 40 countries across four continents has already been completed, and final preparations are actively underway for the grand finale, which will occur on Sunday evening.
Special Chief Secretary for Tourism, Jayesh Ranjan, is personally overseeing the event's organizational arrangements. On Tuesday, he conducted a high-level review meeting with officials from Cyberabad Police, Traffic Police, and the Tourism Department. After the meeting, Jayesh Ranjan confirmed that the finals would be held in Hall No. 4 of HITEX. He stated that the event would begin at 6:30 PM and conclude at 9:20 PM, with seating arrangements made for approximately 3,500 attendees. To coordinate efforts among various government departments, a special control room has been established at HITEX.
Following the direction of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the event will not be limited to VIPs; common citizens will also have the opportunity to participate. Online applications were invited for this purpose, and Jayesh Ranjan revealed that around 7,500 individuals applied, of which nearly 1,000 will be selected to attend. Prominent industrialists from Telangana, as well as celebrities from Bollywood and Tollywood, have been invited as special guests. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, state ministers, elected representatives, and senior officials are also expected to attend the ceremony.
Practice sessions for the finals began on Tuesday and will continue on Wednesday and Thursday. Full rehearsals are scheduled for the mornings of May 30 and 31. Jayesh Ranjan stated that Sony TV will broadcast the finals live in 120 countries. During the telecast, there will be a 50 to 60-minute special segment showcasing the culture, traditions, and tourist attractions of Telangana. Regarding the judges for the finale, Jayesh Ranjan mentioned that the Miss World organization would soon make an official announcement.
