Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2024: Celebrating the Best of Telugu Cinema After 14 Years

After a 14-year hiatus, the Telangana government has revived its state film awards, rebranded as the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024, in honor of revolutionary poet and cultural icon Gaddar. The awards recognize excellence across Telugu cinema for films released in 2024, highlighting achievements in feature films, performance, and technical artistry.

The winners were officially announced on May 29 at a press meet led by jury chairperson Jayasudha, alongside Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) Chairman Dil Raju, jury member Jeevitha Rajasekhar, and other dignitaries. Jayasudha emphasized the jury’s independence and confirmed that selections were made purely on merit, without any political or external influence.
