The Central Government has approved chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s request to transfer Mahesh Chandra Ladda, currently serving as the CRPF Inspector General (IG) in Central Service, back to the Andhra Pradesh Service. Chief Minister Naidu had formally written to the Centre, requesting the transfer of Ladda, who belongs to the Andhra Pradesh cadre, back to State service. Responding positively, the Centre has issued orders for Ladda’s transfer. This move has sparked speculation among officials that Mahesh Chandra Ladda may be appointed as the Intelligence chief of Andhra Pradesh.
