Vijayawada: AP BJP president D Purandeswari said that the alliance was formed for the defeat of YSR Congress. Addressing the BJP’s Padaadhikarula Samavesam here on Tuesday, she termed the alliance of the three parties as Triveni Sangamam.

She further said that the decision for the political alliance with the TDP has been taken by the BJP national leadership. Describing the three-party alliance as a historical decision, she said that the BJP’s national leadership has identified the special circumstances in the state.

The YSR Congress is controlling all constitutional functionaries in the state. The State government has been mortgaging all the government assets while looting all the mines and other income sources, she explained. Questioning the government’s rights, she wondered how the liquor is being sold though the poor people are losing their lives. She wondered how the Chief Minister claimed the BCs and SCs as his own when he diverted their funds for self-interests.

She appealed to the people to cast their votes for NDA parties though their flags are different their agenda is the same. BJP Saha Sanghatana secretary Siva Prakash, Political in-charge Arun Singh, Siddharth Nag, BJP leaders N Kirankumar Reddy, Y Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, K Geeta, Vara Prasad, B Srinivasa Varma and several leaders were present.
