Actress Rakul Preet Singh, once a leading star in South cinema, has been focusing more on her Bollywood career post-marriage. In a recent interview, Rakul candidly addressed one of the strangest rumors she has encountered during her career.

When asked about the weirdest speculation she has come across, Rakul referred to a viral rumor that once made headlines in Telangana—claiming that a former minister had gifted her a house. While she refrained from naming anyone directly, she acknowledged the buzz and clarified the truth behind it.

“The weirdest rumor is that my house was gifted to me. In reality, it was my father who handled all the paperwork and formalities. He was extremely upset about the gossip, especially because the house was the result of our hard work. He even wanted me to respond publicly, but I told him I can’t keep addressing every rumor,” she shared.

At the time, Rakul’s father had even issued a press statement to clear the air, as the speculation continued to circulate for a while.
