Filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi is all set to deliver a cinematic double treat, with two back-to-back releases lined up in just a month’s time. Following the long-awaited release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM) on June 12, the acclaimed Vedam director is wasting no time and is swiftly moving toward the release of his next venture, Ghaati, slated for July 11.
While HHVM, starring Pawan Kalyan, has seen multiple delays over the past five years—primarily due to the pandemic and other setbacks—Ghaati arrives as a surprise second offering. Fans, who have long expressed their frustration over HHVM’s postponements, now have something extra to look forward to with Ghaati just around the corner.
Despite the long wait, Hari Hara Veera Mallu promises to be a gripping period action drama that aims to deliver a rich cinematic experience. But the excitement doesn't end there—Ghaati is also generating buzz as a gritty action crime drama with a unique premise.
Starring Anushka Shetty in a powerful lead role, alongside Vikram Prabhu, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramya Krishna, Ghaati tells the story of a tribal woman from the remote North Andhra region who rises through the criminal underworld via illegal ganja cultivation. It’s a hard-hitting tale of transformation—from a victim to a commanding force in the world of crime.
Originally announced in 2024 with an initial release date of April 2025, Ghaati has been moved up to July 11, making Krish one of the few directors this year to deliver two major releases within a span of 30 days.
With two distinct genres and powerful storytelling, Krish seems ready to captivate audiences with a double dose of cinematic impact.
