CM Naidu urges public to observe earth hour today

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the collective responsibility of protecting the planet, urging citizens to contribute in any way they can. On the occasion of Earth Hour, he appealed to people to switch off electricity from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM today (Saturday) in homes, offices, and businesses. He highlighted that Earth Hour unites millions globally and encouraged everyone to participate.

CM Naidu expressed happiness that World Water Day and Earth Hour coincide on March 22 this year, reinforcing the importance of water and energy conservation. He noted that water security and energy efficiency are key pillars in the Swarna Andhra-2047 vision and stressed the need for responsible usage.

While the AP government is committed to sustainability, he emphasized the importance of collective action. He urged citizens to make small yet impactful choices in conserving water and electricity, stating that such efforts would drive meaningful change for a sustainable future
