Bandi Sanjay Slams CM Revanth Reddy for ‘Bankrupt Telangana’ Remark
Rajanna Siricilla: Union Minister and BJP MP from Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during his visit to Rajanna Siricilla district on Tuesday. Participating in various programs, Bandi Sanjay criticized the CM for publicly stating that Telangana had gone bankrupt, calling the remark "shameful" and damaging to the state's image.
He alleged that there is growing public dissatisfaction with the Congress government and raised doubts about its ability to complete a full term. “People are questioning whether this government will survive till the end,” he said.
Bandi Sanjay also accused Congress MLAs of being fearful about their political future and took a dig at the party's culture, saying, “Lifting sandals is Congress culture.” He questioned whether such language and conduct befit the office of the Chief Minister.
He further questioned why promises were made during the elections despite the state's financial burden, pointing out that former CM KCR had also acknowledged the existence of loans. “Why make promises knowing the fiscal reality?” he asked.
Warning MLAs and ministers, Bandi Sanjay said they would be held accountable by both the people and the BJP in the coming days.
