AP Cabinet to convene, 14 issues on agenda

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is set to meet once again under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to deliberate on 14 agenda items. The Cabinet is expected to approve amendments to the Private Universities Act and the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Act.

Additionally, it will discuss land allocations for various institutions. Among other significant decisions, the Cabinet is likely to greenlight the establishment of a digital health center in Kuppam and approve the recruitment of 372 civil assistant surgeons in the medical and health department.

The Cabinet will also review and finalize the 2024-29 Andhra Pradesh Tourism Policy, focusing on the development of tourist centers and measures to attract more visitors to the state. Since the formation of the NDA coalition government eight months ago, the Cabinet has met multiple times, taking several decisions on governance and policy matters.
