Vijayawada: April 16: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has provided a major relief to the Janasena Party by delivering a judgment in favor of the party regarding the allocation of the ‘glass tumbler’ symbol to it. This ruling comes after a petition was filed challenging the allocation of the symbol.

Meda Srinivas, the founder of Rashtriya Praja Congress (Secular) from Rajamahendravaram, had approached the High Court seeking directions to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to submit records related to the allocation of the ‘glass tumbler’ symbol to Janasena Party.

On Tuesday, the High Court pronounced its judgment favoring Janasena Party, confirming the allocation of the ‘glass tumbler’ symbol to the party. This decision brings clarity and assurance to Janasena Party regarding its electoral symbol.

Janasena Party is one of the partners of the NDA alliance in Andhra Pradesh elections and is contesting in two Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly segments.
