Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Makes First Visit to Vijayawada Since Taking Office
Kankipadu witnessed a grand celebration as Nihar, son of senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony attended by prominent political and judicial dignitaries from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The wedding marked the first visit to Vijayawada by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy since assuming office. He was received warmly at the helipad by Andhra Pradesh Ministers Payyavula Keshav, Nimmala Ramanaidu, and BC Janardhan Reddy.
Adding to the celebratory grandeur, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu, and former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court NV Ramana graced the occasion. CM Revanth Reddy and Minister Lokesh arrived together at the venue, extending their heartfelt wishes and blessings to the newlyweds.
The event turned into a notable gathering of key political figures from both Telugu states, underscoring the influence and stature of the Devineni family within the region’s political landscape.
