The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has announced the cancellation of illegal teacher transfers that were hastily carried out by the previous government before the elections. This decision follows the recent rejection of the ratification file by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
On Wednesday, the director of School Education issued an order directing the regional joint directors (RJDs) and district education officers (DEOs) to implement the cancellation. This move will annul the transfers of 917 teachers, which had been ordered before the election but were not finalized due to the imposition of the election code.
The previous Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy also did not ratify these transfers, leading to their recent rejection by the current Chief Minister Chandrabau Naidu
