Any position for AB Venkateswara Rao in Govt, enquires Party cadre 

The rank and file of the TDP are discussing every decision of the government. The sympathisers of the TDP are inquiring about the fate of retired IPS officer AB Venkateswara Rao.

The State government could give any position to him or not, Karnati Sarat Babu of Krishna district who settled in Khammam inquired about the former IPS officers’ position. Like many of the party cadres have frequently asked the question recollecting the challenges faced by the IPS officer from the previous government.

AB Venkateswara Rao was under suspension during the whole period of YSR Congress’s government tenure though no allegation was proved against him so far. Against this backdrop, his case and the way the senior police officer faced challenges from the government created a new psychological attachment to the public, especially with the TDP cadre.

The officer did not get any benefit, instead he lost his career. Several IAS officers who worked in the previous government have given statements against the government policies. But AB Venkateswara Rao has chosen a way to fight against the government while not causing any troubles for Chandrababu Naidu’s administration matters.
