The story is a period drama set in the year 2007 in a village called Ambajipet. Venkat (Nitin Prasanna), who is a big man in that village, gives loans to many people in the same village and collects interest. Thus he keeps many people in his secret. Some of the villagers who have taken money from him live in fear of him when he will return the actual money. In the same village, Malli (Suhas) works in a marriage band while practicing his caste profession. He is the twin sister of Padma (Saranya), Padma is educated and works as a teacher in a school in the same town. Rumors are going around that it is Venkat who gave Padma a job and that he has some relation with Padma. Meanwhile, Malli loves Venkat’s sister Lakshmi (Shivani), who also likes Malli. An incident happens on Malli and Padma’s birthday which leads to another incident. The story starts from here. What happened that day, what did Venkat do who thought of money, leverage and authority, how did Malli and Padma react to what he did, did Lakshmi and Malli’s love work, and where all these events ultimately lead to, you have to watch the movie.
In recent times, after ‘Balagam’, there has been a movie with a natural story, scenes, and only the characters on screen instead of the actors, that is ‘Ambajipeta Marriage Band’. Director Dushyant had said before the release of the film that the story is based on his life and the events around him, taking a little liberty and writing the story. In recent times, many directors have fallen into the pan India craze, bring some story here, cast some actors for it and give it the highest remuneration, and in the end, they are doing well at the box office. This ‘Ambajipeta Marriage Band’ is a story that is like a cheek for such people. Dushyant has proved with this movie that if we write stories based on the events around us and show them to everyone, the audience will appreciate and rejoice.
Director Dushyant has succeeded in portraying a story based on a small incident in a natural way on the silver screen. It must be said that another new young director was introduced to the industry with this film. Such stories happened in many villages, where the people of the village lived in fear of him, who used to be a village gentleman full of authority, money, leverage and pride, and some youths who lost their patience and resisted. We have also heard. The story of this ‘Ambajipet Marriage Band’ is also similar, nothing new, but the director has shown this story in a very natural way. If you think it is a love story, it is a story of a young woman fighting for her self-esteem. The director has shown every scene in a very natural way. Especially in the second half, the emotions are very high and the audience’s heartstrings are tied.
