Vijayawada: June 13: In a significant development within the illustrious Mega family, film actor Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of megastar Chiranjeevi and Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, has unfollowed his cousin, star hero Allu Arjun, on both Instagram and Twitter.
This action has sparked intense discussions and speculations among fans and media outlets. Recently, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Ram Charan, and other members of the Mega family were seen celebrating Pawan Kalyan’s victory in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
However, notable absences in the celebratory video included hero Allu Arjun, his father and prominent film producer Allu Aravind, and their family, leading to further speculation about ongoing tensions within the family. On June 12, Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan, along with the Konidela family, attended Pawan Kalyan’s oath-taking ceremony in Vijayawada, marking his assumption of the role of deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
This event was also notably skipped by the Allu family. The Chiranjeevi family traveled to Vijayawada in a separate bus to attend the ceremony, underscoring their support for Pawan Kalyan. Fans speculate that earlier, Allu Arjun supported YSRCP candidate Shilpa Ravichandra Reddy in Nandyala and attended the election campaign in the city last month.
Allu Arjun clarified that his support for Shilpa was due to their family friendship. This reportedly created a rift within the Mega family, as K Nagababu, brother of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, posted a tweet that seemed to criticise Allu Arjun. In his tweet, Nagababu suggested that individuals who support rival parties should not be considered allies, while those who support their party, even if they are outsiders, are still allies. Although Nagababu did not mention anyone by name, many interpreted the post as a jab at Allu Arjun. Notably, Allu Arjun’s father Aravind had campaigned in support of Pawan Kalyan during the recent general elections, alongside his sister, Chiranjeevi’s wife. Following the election victory, Allu Arjun took to his Twitter account to drop an appreciation note for his uncle Pawan Kalyan.
However, the recent move by Sai Dharam Tej to unfollow Allu Arjun and his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, but not Allu’s brother, Allu Sirish, has surprised many. Sai Dharam Tej is known to be close to his cousins in the Allu-Konidela family, making this social media move particularly noteworthy. The situation has led to various theories about the possible reasons behind Sai Dharam Tej’s decision, with fans expressing curiosity and concern over the matter.
While the exact reasons for the unfollowing have not been officially stated, it is clear that this development has captured public attention and has become a topic of conversation within the entertainment community. The absence of Allu Arjun and his family from the celebrations has only fueled rumors of a serious rift within the family, leaving fans and media alike eager for more information on the unfolding family dynamics
