CM Cup 2024: As part of the celebrations honoring public administration successes in the state, the government will organize the 'CM Cup 2024' under the auspices of the Sports Authority of Telangana (SAT).

As part of the celebrations honoring public administration successes in the state, the government will organize the 'CM Cup 2024' under the auspices of the Sports Authority of Telangana (SAT). This event will feature competitions in 36 sports categories, ranging from village level to state level. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the CM Cup jersey at a public meeting held in Peddapalli on Wednesday.

The government has allocated Rs. 6 lakh per district to facilitate these competitions. The schedule is as follows: competitions will be held at the village level on the 7th and 8th of this month, at the mandal and municipality level from the 10th to the 12th, at the district level from the 16th to the 21st, and finally, at the state level from December 27th to January 2nd.

Awards for the competitors include a gold medal and Rs. 20,000 for the first place in the individual category and Rs. 20,000 for team winners. The second place will receive a silver medal, along with Rs. 15,000 in the individual category and Rs. 75,000 for teams. Third place will be awarded a bronze medal, with Rs. 10,000 for individuals and Rs. 50,000 for teams.

State-level competitions will take place in various locations: Karimnagar (judo), Hanumakonda (athletics, gymnastics, badminton, and handball), Warangal (kho-kho), Khammam (archery, volleyball), Medak (softball), Mahbubnagar (netball, kabaddi), and Hyderabad (other sports). Events will feature sub-junior, junior, and senior categories, along with separate Para Games being organized.
