The process of staff purification has commenced at the Srilakshminarasimhaswamy temple in Yadagirigutta, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. Twenty-six employees who have served at the temple for many years have been reassigned to other temples in the state by the State Devadaya Department. The government has initiated general transfers in all departments across the state, including the Department of Religious Affairs.

\The plan is to transfer up to 40 percent of the employees from temples with RJC (6A), DC (6B), and AC (6C) status who have been working in one place for more than four years. This decision aims to address allegations of corruption and irregularities among employees who have been stationed at the same temples for an extended period. In line with this plan, employees from Yadadri, Bhadrachalam, and Vemulawada temples with RJC status have been transferred.

A total of 65 employees attended counseling at Yadadri Srilakshmi Narasimhaswamy Devasthanam, and 26 of them have been transferred. Following 13 years without any transfers, the Debt Department witnessed a changeover. During the joint administration of Andhra Pradesh, employees were transferred from Komuravelli temple to temples such as Yadadri, Vemulawada, Kondagattu, Bhadrachalam, and Basara. However, there have been no further transfers since then, leading to allegations of employees and staff acting without oversight.

The recent transfers involved two AEOs, six superintendents, seven senior assistants, nine junior assistants, one civil engineer DE, and one electrical AE. Yadadri temple’s last transfers occurred in 2009 during the period of united Andhra Pradesh. Since then, no transfers have taken place until now, with many officers and employees receiving promotions and continuing to work in Yadagirigutta. After nearly 15 years, the first transfers have occurred following the formation of Telangana.
