In Hyderabad, there is a concern among NEET candidates about the current guidelines set by the state government for determining locality.

The students are worried that they may lose their preferred locality due to the latest government order. Currently, the locality is determined based on the 9th, 10th, and Intermediate (Inter) classes.

However, candidates are requesting that locality be determined based on four consecutive years, from 6th to 12th grade. Parents and students in Vijayawada are also expressing concerns about the potential impact on medical seat allocations and have written a letter to the state health minister.

They have stated their intention to pursue legal action if their concerns are not addressed.
