Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR Set for Explosive Clash in War 2, Releasing August 14

The much-awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, is all set to hit screens on August 14. Titled War 2, the film brings in Jr NTR as a major new addition, promising a massive cinematic showdown.

Unlike the first film, which was helmed by Siddharth Anand, the sequel is directed by Ayan Mukerji, who opened up about the scale and pressure of handling such a high-profile franchise.

"It’s a huge responsibility to take forward a much-loved franchise like War and leave your mark," Ayan said in a recent interview. Speaking about directing two superstars, he added, "I know the expectations from fans of both stars. I’ve tried to stay honest and deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience."

With Kiara Advani playing the female lead and high-octane action at its core, War 2 is poised for box office fireworks. However, it faces tough competition, clashing with Rajinikanth’s Coolie on the same day.
