96 DSP Cadre officers transferred in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has made a significant decision. 96 DSPs have been transferred at the same time. The DGP has issued orders to this effect. Meanwhile, the government did not provide postings to many DSPs who were associated with the YCP and were involved in anarchy for the last five years. The DGP has instructed all of them to report to the DGP office.

The government has also transferred the Vigilance DSPs of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Kuppam DSP Srinath was transferred to Intelligence. A significant number of DSPs are expected to be transferred today and tomorrow, with reports indicating that those associated with YCP will not be given new postings. JC followers have filed 23 private cases against Chaitanya for his actions in Tadipatri and for allegedly using aggressive tactics against TDP leaders. The TDP leaders are demanding a departmental inquiry against Chaitanya.

DSP Chaitanya, who previously worked in Tadipatri and Rajampet, has been transferred. His name is on the list of officials instructed to report to the DGP’s office. It is known that DSP Chaitanya severely harassed JC Prabhakara Reddy and his followers in Tadipatri. Chaitanya is accused of attacking the followers of JC Prabhakar Reddy in Tadipatri despite being transferred to Rajampet. Additionally, Tullur DSP Ashok Kumar Goud, has been transferred. Both have been ordered to report to the DGP office without being given any new posting.
