Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal plans to take his case to the Supreme Court after the High Court upheld his arrest by the CBI in a corruption case related to the alleged excise policy scam.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced that Justice Neena Bansal Krishna dismissed Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest, stating that it was not without justifiable reason.

The high court also rejected Kejriwal’s bail plea but allowed him to seek relief from the trial court. Earlier, the high court had reserved its decision on his plea challenging the CBI’s arrest.

The AAP stated that Kejriwal will approach the Supreme Court against this decision, noting that the Supreme Court had previously granted him interim bail in a money laundering case related to the excise policy.
