Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Nani), the former Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a prominent leader of the YSR Congress Party (YCP), has announced his resignation from the party. Citing personal reasons, Alla Nani not only stepped down from the primary membership of the YSRCP but also oversaw the demolition of the party’s office in Eluru, marking a complete severance of ties.
Alla Nani, who had previously relinquished his party positions, has now taken the decisive step of exiting the party altogether. This departure has drawn attention, especially since it leaves the YSRCP in Eluru without a dedicated office or address. The party office, which had been functioning on leased land, was demolished, and the site was returned to its owner. Speaking to the media, Alla Nani confirmed his resignation, emphasizing that it was driven by personal reasons.
He reiterated that the lease on the party office space had expired, prompting the return of the property to its rightful owner. Independence Day celebrations were conducted at the office with the owner’s permission, following which the temporary structures set up for the party were dismantled.
