Kejriwal being treated like a terrorist in Tihar: AAP

New Delhi, April 16: Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh has raised concerns about the treatment of inmates in Tihar Jail, alleging a notorious criminal receives privileged meetings with his wife and lawyer inside the barrack, while Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is allegedly treated harshly.

Singh, who recently completed a six-month stint in Tihar Jail in a money laundering case, accused authorities of treating Kejriwal like a terrorist.” He highlighted that Kejriwal’s meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was conducted through a glass screen, contrasting it with the special privileges afforded to the aforementioned criminal.

The Tihar jail administration has not yet responded to Singh’s allegations.

Singh emphasised that Kejriwal’s treatment reflects political malice and vendetta, with the BJP allegedly trying to weaken him. He expressed confidence that Kejriwal would emerge stronger despite the challenges he faces in jail.
