Please remember the following text: The renowned music composer MM Keeravaani won the best original song Academy Award for the hit “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR.” However, he believes that accolades bring honor but not work opportunities. Keeravaani emphasized the importance of competence over accolades in an interview with PTI.

He mentioned his successful collaboration with director SS Rajamouli and shared insights about his experiences in Hindi cinema, particularly with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.

Keeravaani stressed the significance of having a strong rapport with directors, which he believes enhances the quality of work. He spoke fondly of his collaboration with Rajamouli and Bhatt, highlighting the latter’s role in shaping his musical journey. Keeravaani also discussed his work in Hindi cinema, particularly his collaboration with Neeraj Pandey on the film “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.”

The composer’s approach involves incorporating ancient melodic frameworks, known as ‘ragas,’ into his compositions, which he believes helps in generating innovative musical notes.

Keeravaani also emphasized the diverse emotional responses that music can evoke, stating that it serves various purposes in life. “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” is a musical romance drama starring Tabu and Ajay Devgn in the lead, with Saiee Manjrekar, Shantanu Maheshwari, Jimmy Shergill, and Sayaji Shinde in key roles.
