Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, the son of former actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has been discharged from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after being hospitalized for injuries sustained in an accident last week.
The 20-year-old was riding his electric bike down Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles, California around 5 pm on July 29 when he crashed into the back of a car.
Unfortunately, he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and suffered a head injury along with “complex trauma” from the crash.
A source informed the Page Six outlet that Pax has been released from the ICU and is now starting the long road to recovery and physical therapy.
The insider also mentioned that Pax and Jolie are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of the first responders and the outstanding medical care he received.
Pax’s siblings have been visiting and helping him during this time, as they are all very close. Pax is one of the six children that Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 60, share. The former couple is also parents to Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
