Akhanda 2: Thandavam Set for Grand Dussehra Release

The much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda, titled Akhanda 2: Thandavam, is being mounted on a grand scale, promising an even bigger spectacle than its predecessor. With a lavish budget and expansive canvas, the film is being bankrolled by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, with M Tejaswini Nandamuri presenting.

Marking a working birthday, director Boyapati Sreenu is currently in Georgia, meticulously scouting visually captivating and unique locations for the upcoming shooting schedule. Several key sequences will be filmed against the backdrop of Georgia’s stunning natural beauty, adding a rich, immersive visual layer to the narrative.

The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a powerful role, alongside Samyuktha as the female lead and Aadhi Pinisetty in a dynamic, pivotal character. Acclaimed cinematographers C Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae are handling the visuals, while the musical score is being composed by the ever-energetic S Thaman.

Akhanda 2: Thandavam is slated for a grand release this Dussehra, hitting theatres on September 25th.
