On Tuesday, actor Divya Seth Shah announced the tragic passing of her daughter, Mihika Shah, on August 5th. It was reported that Mihika, who was in her 20s, suffered a seizure after developing a fever. Divya, known for her roles in popular TV shows like “Hum Log” and “Banegi Apni Baat”, as well as the film “Dil Dhadakne Do”, expressed her grief on Facebook and shared that a prayer meeting in memory of her late daughter will be held on Thursday evening.

In a joint statement with her husband Siddharth Shah, Divya informed, “With profound sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5th, 2024.” The cause of Mihika’s death or her age was not disclosed. The prayer meet will take place at Sindh Colony Club House in Mumbai.
