In the midst of these events, houses and businesses belonging to party leaders are being destroyed, including the Star Hotel, which was set on fire by a leader of the Awami League. The violence has also targeted several Awami League leaders’ residences and business establishments, resulting in widespread damage and casualties. The situation is dire, and the death toll is expected to rise as many individuals are currently receiving treatment for their injuries. The ongoing violence has already claimed the lives of over 440 people, with the situation showing no signs of abating.
