Kadapa: April 20: Andhra Pradesh Congress President Y S Sharmila entered the electoral fray by filing her nomination for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat on Saturday. Accompanied by N Sunitha (daughter of former MP Y S Vivekananda Reddy), as well as a contingent of party members and supporters, Sharmila commenced her nomination process with a visit to her late father and former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s Ghat.

Sharmila led a rally to the Kadapa Collectorate, where she submitted her nomination papers to the returning officer. Speaking to the press, she expressed hope in the people of Kadapa, believing that they would extend their support to her candidacy during the ongoing general elections.
