Amaravati: The Non-Resident Indians (NRI) s of various countries across the globe reached their motherland to participate in the election campaign, especially for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with gratitude and admiration for former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The developed community of NRIs always prefers to participate in development and feels a responsibility to pay back to society.  (NRISE AP)

It may be recalled that the former Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has a huge fan following in various countries. They are psychologically well connected to Chandrababu Naidu when he became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 1995

. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision and development plans which became reality in Hyderabad attracted them without any barricades including their qualification, age and financial status.

As a result, they started frequent interactions with Chandrababu Naidu while he also spent his busy time exchanging their knowledge and support for the State’s development.

The IT graduates who reached Hyderabad from various districts and proceeded to America during the 90s are staunch followers of Chandrababu Naidu. It is the reason they staged protests in nearly 200 countries by opposing his arrest.

In 1990s the State government led by Naidu established Engineering colleges across the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and IT companies in Hyderabad.

The NRIs have always extended their cooperation to Chandrababu Naidu by feeling that he is capable of developing the State. Besides, whether NRIs live in America, the UK, Australia, Canada, the Gulf, and other countries they are all well connected to the motherland. (NRISE AP)

The NRIs who went abroad in the 1990s are well settled financially in various professions and they don’t need to take part in State developments for self-interests. But taking into consideration love and affection for the motherland, the NRIs now reached Andhra Pradesh.

When the State was bifurcated, the NRIs of Andhra Pradesh again started participating in the building of the new capital Amaravati, and state development. Several NRI started medium-range software companies to provide jobs for the youth of the State.

Similarly, they invested in various projects. It will help to boost the economy of the State and tax generation. They wanted to participate in the State development when Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister of the State from 2014 to 2019. But they were in a disappointed mood following the policies of the State government during the last five years.

Now they want to again participate in the election campaign for Chandrababu Naidu.

Their main focus is on State development. The TDP has started the NRI TDP wing also in all the countries. The IT employees, doctors, business professionals, and entrepreneurs are also members of NRI TDP. Even though they are busy in their professional life, now some of them reached out to Andhra Pradesh to extend support to Chandrababu Naidu with the prime motive of development.

A group of NRIs led by NRI TDP president Dr Vemuru Ravi Kumar, AP NRT former member K Seshu Babu, Gulf TDP wing president Ravi Radha Krishna and several NRIs will launch NRIs  NRISEAP Yatra from TDP central office Mangalagiri on Friday. They will visit the people across the 25 Lok Sabha and 175 Assembly segments across the State.

They want to give hope to the people on the future of the State. They will give assurance of their cooperation and support for State development. The NRIs will explain the State’s position and the requirement of Chandrababu Naidu’s able leadership and vision for the State’s development.
