Vijayawada: With the beginning of the nomination filing process in Andhra Pradesh today, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu took a significant step by handing over B-forms of the TDP candidates to party zonal in-charge persons. These zonal in-charge persons will subsequently distribute the B-forms to the TDP candidates who are set to contest in both the assembly and Parliament elections.
The seat-sharing agreement delineates the roles of the major players in the upcoming elections. According to this arrangement, Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP will contest 17 Lok Sabha seats and 144 assembly seats. Pawan Kalyan’s JanaSena Party will vie for two Lok Sabha seats and 21 assembly seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will enter the fray in six Lok Sabha seats and 10 assembly seats.
