In a pioneering move, Minister for IT and HRD Nara Lokesh announced a Statewide parent-teacher meeting scheduled for December 7. The event, touted as a landmark initiative, aims to strengthen schools, foster student development, and address educational challenges through an inclusive platform. Speaking about the initiative, Minister Lokesh described the meeting as a "bridge" between students, teachers, and parents.

He emphasized its potential to serve as a compass for educational transformation and problem-solving within schools. In a letterreleased on Friday, Lokesh urged public representatives, donors, alumni, and voluntary organizations to actively participate in this mega event. “This parent-teacher meeting will be the biggest festival for the education system.

It is an opportunity to bring everyone together for a cause that transcends politics,” Lokesh stated. Highlighting the event's unique aspect, Lokesh noted that this will be the first time in the country that a parent-teacher meeting will be conducted simultaneously across an entire State. He called for the meetings to be held in a festive atmosphere, with participation from all levels of public representatives -from ward members and sarpanches to Members of Parliament and the Chief Minister.

The Minister also stressed that public representatives should join the meetings in their respective village schools to foster community engagement. Through these gatherings, parents will gain insights into their children’s education, transformation, and discipline. Lokesh expressed confidence that the event would bridge gaps and pave the way for a robust and inclusive education system.
