BRS MP Keshava Rao meets CM Revanth

 Vijayawada: March 29:  BRS party secretary general K Keshava Rao is ready to join the Congress party along with his daughter Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, who is currently in the BRS and serves as the Mayor of Hyderabad. Keshava Rao had met with Chief Minister and TPCC president A Revanth Reddy on Friday as a prelude to his formal entry into the Congress. He had also informed BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao about his decision.

During the meeting between Keshava Rao and Revanth Reddy, they were joined by Deepa Das Munshi, the AICC in-charge for Telangana, and other senior TPCC leaders. The discussions mainly revolved around Keshava Rao’s imminent move to join the Congress party. It seems that Keshava Rao had previously met with Chandrashekar Rao to inform him about his decision, although the BRS has not officially commented on this meeting.

Chandrashekar Rao might not be pleased with Keshava Rao’s decision to return to the Congress, especially after the respect and deference shown to him by the BRS. Keshava Rao is expected to hold a press conference to explain his decision to rejoin the Congress party later in the day.
