Pawan’s name viral for Anakapalli Lok Sabha

Film hero-turned-politician and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s name is going viral in social media as he will be contesting from Anakapalli Lok Sabha.

The interesting new proposal is doing rounds in political circles after he arrived in Delhi for political discussions with the BJP national leaders. As per the information, now the film hero is seriously thinking about contesting for Lok Sabha.

It may be recalled that the film hero contested from two Assembly constituencies in 2019 elections. He faced unprecedented defeat in both the segments. His party won only one MLA seat from Razole.

Though he faced humiliating defeat in that election, he continued in politics for the last five years. He vehemently opposed the YSRCP government while making plans to field 24 of his party candidates in forthcoming elections with the support of the TDP.   

So far, the rank and file of the party are eagerly waiting for his announcement to know about his contesting constituency whether it will be Bhimavaram or Visakhkapatnam like in the previous election.

Moreover, huge fan crowd of Pawan are always thinking about Pawan’s entry into the Assembly and his future role in the post of the Chief Minister. It is their dream. They always raise slogans as CM in the public meetings. But the new proposal for Lok Sabha is interesting and it will be like pulling a surprise on them.    

Indeed, Pawan Kalyan of late has been showing some political maturity. He entered into an election alliance with the TDP while continuing as political partner with the BJP. In view of his seat strength, he may not be elected as Chief Minister immediately. At the most, if the TDP forms the government, he could become a minister.

According to sources, the proposal of contesting for the Lok Sabha seat has been in his mind for some time even his fan-following aspirations are different. Moreover, if YSR Congress will be in opposition, Pawan’s role will be nominal as the chance for fight against the opposition is minimal.

Moreover, if he contests for Lok Sabha, he may get a place in the NDA government at the Centre. He can get national exposure and it will be a chance to bring funds for state development. He will also have good scope to maintain closer relation with the BJP national leadership, a political analyst said. He further said that if Pawan gets elected for the Assembly and takes the minister position, he will lose glamour for future Chief Minister’s role.
