He said that he would provide Krishna water for drinking water purposes which remains a genuine need in the area. The long pending demand would become a reality after TDP comes to power. He further said that he would develop the constituency as a model in development.
Lokesh has also said that the TDP government would create employment on a large scale. He said that the Mangalagiri area would be developed as a jewelry hub of the country in the model of Surat in Gujarat. He said the weavers shifted their profession from traditional weaving.
Already the TDP has taken several plans to encourage weavers, he said and added that recently the TATA Taneria came forward to purchase the produce of Mangalagiri weavers. It is the great effort on behalf of Telugu Desam for empowerment of the weavers community, he explained. He said that the TDP would give assurances that it can be done genuinely.
Answering a question raised by apartment residents, he said that the road approach connectivity would be provided if possible as per the guidelines of the Highways Authority. Introducing TDP Guntur MP candidate P Chandrasekhar, he said that he asked about his entry in politics and risks. But Chandrasekhar decided to participate in direct politics by taking any kind of risk for doing public service, Lokesh explained.
On this occasion, Pemmasani said that he is committed to serving the people. He said that the creation of employment and industry is a key point. Even though it is difficult to create employment here, Chandrababu Naidu’s handwork and commitment would develop the state. Several local leaders and apartment association representatives were also present.
