Vijayawada: YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday resumed the electioneering bus tour from Kesarapalle in NTR District, following a day’s break after a stone attack.
Unidentified miscreants hurled a stone at the Chief Minister on Saturday night near Vivekananda School Centre in Vijayawada’s Singh Nagar, injuring his left temple while he was canvassing for polls. Jagan is currently canvassing for the polls at Gannavaram, planning to traverse through Atkur, Veeravalli Cross, Hanuman Junction, and other villages on Monday.
Several party leaders visited Jagan at Kesaraplli Village, inquiring about his health condition. Jagan, undeterred, expressed determination, stating, “This kind of attack will not debilitate us. No need to fear. The God and people of the State are with us. We must move forward to stand for the people who believe in us,” to the party leaders.”
AP Legislative Council chairman K Moshen Raju, Ministers Jogi Ramesh, Ramesh, Karumuri Nageswara Rao, advisor Sajjala Ramakrihsna Reddy, MPs Kesineni Nani, Ayodya Rami Reddy, several MLAs, and party leaders also visited CM Jagan.
