The Department of Posts has issued a special commemorative postage stamp to mark the 25th anniversary of India’s victory in the Kargil War. The stamp was released at Dras, Kargil, in Ladakh.
It pays tribute to the bravery, determination, and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces. Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia praised India Post for creating a stamp that captures a significant moment in the nation’s history.
He encouraged citizens to purchase the stamp as a symbol of enduring gratitude and respect for those who have safeguarded the nation.
