Collectors’ meeting at AP Secretariat on August 5, 6

A two-day meeting of district collectors will be held on August 5 and 6 at the State Secretariat. The special chief secretary of revenue department RP Sisodia announced the schedule following a preparatory review meeting with officials of various departments, including CCLA G Jayalakshmi, on Thursday.

The meeting, which will take place in the 5th building of the State Secretariat, is set to include a joint session with district collectors on the first day and a combined meeting with collectors and superintendents of police (SP) on the second day. The inaugural program will run from 10 AM to 11 AM on August 5, followed by discussions from 10 AM to 6 PM on both days. Special CS Sisodia has directed officials from the relevant departments to make necessary arrangements for the event. NTR district collector Srujana has been tasked with organizing suitable transport and accommodation for the collectors and SPs. Guntur district Collector Nagalakshmi will ensure that various support staff required for the meeting are in place.

Additionally, Guntur Range IG Sarvashrestha Tripathi and Secretariat SPF officials have been instructed to oversee safety and fire-fighting measures.

The General Administration Department has been asked to send invitations to key dignitaries, including the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, ministers, chief secretary to the Government, special chief secretaries, and heads of departments. The preparatory meeting saw the participation of several senior officials, including CCLA G Jayalakshmi, Additional CCLA N Prabhakar Reddy, Guntur Range IG Sarvashrestha Tripathi, Guntur district collector Nagalakshmi, NTR district collector Srijana, Planning Department director R Rambabu, CRDA additional secretary Sivarama Krishna, and GAD deputy secretary Ramasubbaiah, among others
