CM Chandrababu lauds successful pension distribution 

CM ChandrababuAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed his satisfaction with the successful distribution of increased pensions to 64 lakh beneficiaries, amounting to Rs 2,737 crore, on the first day of the month. Highlighting the unprecedented achievement, the Chief Minister noted that 97.54 percent of pensions were distributed in a single day, a record in the State’s history.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring financial security for the elderly, disabled, and other vulnerable groups. “The increased pension amounts will significantly improve the lives of the poor and marginalized,” Chief Minister Naidu stated, extending his congratulations to all government employees and officials involved in the program. He underscored the importance of their efforts in achieving this milestone.

In addition to the pension disbursement, the Chief Minister announced that government employees received their salaries on the first day of the month, along with pensions for retired employees. Despite the State’s financial constraints, Rs 5300 crore was released to ensure timely salary payments.

Chief Minister Naidu praised the crucial role of government employees in the State’s restructuring efforts. He affirmed the NDA coalition government’s commitment to working collaboratively with employees, prioritizing their welfare, and respecting their contributions. He urged employees to continue their hard work and dedication to transform the future of Andhra Pradesh.
