A Water plant was Inaugurated capacity of 2000 litre drinking water worth about Rs 5 lakh with financial assistance from Reliance Foundation under the aegis of Dharani Seva Samithi at Kothuru in Vinjamuru village of Nellore district on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharani Seva Samithi spokesperson Yellala Raghurami Reddy said that with the initiative of Prof Yellala Venkata Ramireddy, Member, Industrial Clearances Committee, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and Ms. Yellala Manjula, Managing Trustee, Dharani Seva Samithi, the water plant was inaugurated on Saturday at Kothur in Vinjamuru to meet the needs of the local people with the help of Reliance Foundation.
So far, 2000 liters of potable water RO plants worth about Rs 70 lakh have been installed in 14 areas such as Ulavapalli, Buchireddypalem, Vikram Simhapuri University in Nellore etc. by Dharani Seva Samithi through Corporate Social Responsibility funds of Indian Oil Corporation, Vedanta Oil Company, Reliance, Coromandel, Nayara, Speak, Jessens etc. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ganapam Balakrishna Reddy, Member, ZPTC, Vinjamuru said that under the aegis of Dharani Seva Samithi, several service activities like setting up of water plants, distribution of jute bags and plastic dust bins have been taken up in Vinjamuru area.
YSRCP leaders Vijayakumar Reddy, Ganapam Ramesh Reddy, BJP leader Gunnam Prasad Reddy, Telugu Desam leaders Guda Narasa Reddy, V SUBBA REDDY and others participated in the programme, Ms. Yellala Manjula Managing Trustee Dharani Seva Samiti Vinjamuru said.
