Guntur, May 14: A case has been registered by the police against Tenali MLA A Sivakumar following an incident where he allegedly assaulted a voter, Gottimukkala Sudhakar, at a polling booth in Tenali. Sudhakar filed a complaint against the YSRCP MLA and seven of his associates in connection with the altercation.
The incident unfolded when the MLA purportedly skipped the queue at the polling booth on Monday, leading to a confrontation with Sudhakar. The exchange quickly turned physical, with both parties resorting to slaps. The situation escalated further as the MLA’s associates joined in, resulting in Sudhakar being subjected to a beating.
