Amaravati: TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh said that the TDP would conduct the first inquiry into illegal mining of the YSR Congress government.

Addressing the residents of Annapurna Apartments at Kunchanapalli in Guntur district on Sunday, he said that he would take action against the illegal mining immediately after coming to power. The ‘J’ gang was looting the entire mines illegally, he alleged.

Elaborating on the illegal sand mining, he said that the government was violating the National Green Tribunal orders also. The TDP government would conduct a detailed inquiry immediately after coming to power and those who looted the public money will be punished though their position is on top. He lamented that the present government destroyed all the systems in the state.

The TDP government would bring new accessible policies for the benefit of people. They would take steps to bring the past glory to the construction sector in the state. The Chief Minister did not construct anything for society but a Rs 500 crore worth palace was constructed by him for his residence purpose in Vizag, he explained. Lokesh wondered how the Chief Minister spent five years in the name of three capitals without doing a single inch of work.

He made sarcastic comments that Jagan would have bought at least 500 acres in Amaravati if the capital area had been announced in advance to him. Jagan’s mind is always focused on corruption and money earning, he alleged. He further said that the TDP would start the capital construction works immediately after coming to power. Several TDP leaders were also present
