A TDP worker from Suraya Cheruvu village, Gali Gudhu (46), Mummidivaram mandal in Konaseema district, lost his life in a riot attack. The incident occurred late Saturday night when Gudhu, along with ten others, was en route to Talupulamma Lowa near Tuni in a Tata Magic vehicle to pay respects.
As their vehicle reached Jagannadhapuram center around midnight, it was stopped by three individuals. Despite attempts to avoid a confrontation, the situation escalated, and unidentified assailants attacked Gudhu and three others with stones. Gali Gudhu sustained severe injuries in the attack and succumbed to them while being taken to the hospital.
The deceased has been identified as a TDP activist. Police are investigating the possibility of a premeditated attack, suspecting that the assailants might have known about Gudhu’s travel plans to Lova.

We will ensure that justice is served.” The police are actively probing the incident to identify and apprehend those responsible for the heinous crime
