Amaravati: March 19: TDP official spokesperson Neelayapalem Vijayakumar said that the state government’s revenue expenditure in January was Rs 10,000 crore.
Addressing the media at the party central office here on Monday, he said how the State government spent such a huge amount of money in a month. He wondered how the state government spent the money on unnecessary expenditures.
As per the CAG reports, the state government had taken a loan amount of Rs 8,484 crore but the revenue expenditure showed Rs 10,368 crore for January. He asked the government to reveal the details as to how much was spent for what purpose.
The government should answer to the public about fund utilisation whether it has spent as per the rules and regulations or not, he said. Vijaya Kumar alleged that the government misused the funds when it was stepping down from power a few months away.
