The officials at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) have announced that the Pushkarini at the Srivari temple in Tirumala will be closed for a month.

The closure will take place from August 1 to 31. During this time, the water in Pushkarini will be completely removed for pipeline and civil works.

As a result, the Pushkarini Aarti will not be held for a month. The TTD Water Works Department will be undertaking repairs and removing the water for the first ten days.

Subsequently, any necessary repairs will be completed over the next ten days, and the Pushkarini will be refilled with water for the remaining ten days.

It has been noted that the pH value of the water in Pushkarini will be maintained at 7. This closure and maintenance is part of the preparations for Srivari’s annual Brahmotsavam.
