In the illegal assets case of former AP Chief Minister and YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Supreme Court has directed the CBI to initiate an investigation into Jagan’s embezzlement case. The court emphasized that the investigation should be completed expeditiously.

The bench, headed by Justice Sanjiv Khanna, mentioned that appropriate directions had already been issued regarding this matter. A bench, led by Justice Sanjeev Khanna, heard a petition filed by current MLA and former MP Raghuramakrishna Raju and adjourned the next hearing to November.

Justice Sanjeev Khanna expressed surprise at the contents of the CBI’s affidavit and questioned the filing of numerous cases without their trials. Raghurama’s counsel informed the court about the changing and retiring of six judges. In response, Justice Sanjeev Khanna expressed impatience over contradictory court orders, stating that conflicting orders have no bearing on the trial proceedings.

Additionally, the counsel for Raghurama Krishnaraju raised concerns about the filing of discharge petitions, which is causing delays. Justice Sanjiv Khanna mentioned that they also handle and adjudge many petitions in the Supreme Court without facing any obstacles.
