Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political attack on YSR Congress and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government has assumed political significance.
Amidst scorching heat in the mid-summer, the criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the YSR Congress somewhat cooled the angry mood of the rank and file of TDP, Jana Sena, and neutral voters.
Indeed, the rank and file of TDP, Jana Sena along with neutral voters were in a displeasure mood when there was a feeling that the BJP high command led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended all possible support for YSR Congress and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Now Prime Minister’s allegations about the YSR Congress government created confidence in the cadres of NDA parties. The BJP’s top leadership faced criticism so far it had been playing a dual role by extending support to both the TDP and YSR Congress. The political attack of the Prime Minister is the stand of BJP and changing trends of Andhra Politics, said a senior journalist Jayaram Sridhar. He further said that the assurances given by the Prime Minister would help the NDA parties to win the elections.
So far there was confusion among the voters and political circles. Modi’s Rajahmundry meeting would solve the confusion in the cadres of the two parties, he told.
Former Lok Satta president Chunduri Rajendra Prasad said that the Prime Minister should tell the government that action would be taken against the corruption of the YSR Congress government when he spoke about corruption. Then only the people would believe his statements totally, he opined.
The last five years rule of YSR Congress and its relations with the Centre government and the support of Prime Minister for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy created confusion though there was an election alliance with BJP, said political analyst A Brahmaiah. Now his clearcut statements solved it, he further said.
