The Capital News

Gudiwada: May 4: In a fervent address at the Varahi Vijayabheri Sabha in Gudivada, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan launched a scathing criticism of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, highlighting what he described as a lack of progress and an abundance of negativity under their rule. Kalyan asserted the urgent need for a shift in Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape.

He criticised the YSRCP’s governance style, alleging a focus on vulgar language, attacks on opposition parties and individuals, and a disregard for civil discourse. Kalyan went as far as proposing a tax on political leaders for their use of foul language and attacks, quipping that such revenue could solve fiscal shortages.

Describing the current government as a “double D government” centered around “attacks, robberies, and foul language,” Kalyan urged the audience to protect democracy and stand against any threats to freedom of expression.

Specifically addressing the Land Titling Act proposed by the YSRCP, Kalyan cautioned against potential property transfers and advocated for a coalition government that prioritises safeguarding citizens’ assets.

He also lauded former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu as a strong leader and called on voters to carefully consider their choices in the upcoming elections, emphasising the need for a government focused on the welfare of the people and the preservation of democratic values
